The 2006 Petite Sirah Pesenti is one of the great ones I tasted in this vintage. Inky bluish/purple to the rim with notes of camphor, incense, blueberry, blackberry, crushed rocks, and acacia flowers, this wine is pure, rich, full-bodied, and massively endowed. Give it 4-5 years of cellaring, and drink it over the following 20-25 years. Robert Parker Jr.
